Datacenter proxies are more than enough for most uses, I use my VPS's IP all the time and I never get blocked on any meaningful site. 
You have to use the right browser not the default library from your language
So called "ethical opt-in residenial proxies" are nothing but a glorified botnet made from literal damn compromised "smart home" objects
The only actually useful stuff in this perverted proxy market are "ISP proxies"
